One of the somewhat subtle things I’ve noticed in the pre-launch promotional emails to all the affiliates that are registered for a new internet marketing product I like is that if they sell 2 copies, they’ll GET a copy, free, BUT, that we should all buy a copy anyway if we are wanting to be super affiliates ourselves.

Interesting concept, in my opinion. It could be taken pretty far –building an entire affiliate army, and literally having that be your own customer base. You could even just sell affiliate marketing products to your affiliates…as an affiliate for the products, and have that be your entire business. My friend James Orr runs an affiliate program for his business systems products that you could do exactly that with, and make quite a bit of money with.

I don’t have an affiliate program myself, but I know that a reasonable percentage of my readers are affiliates. One of you could really take this idea and run with it pretty hard core and do well, I think.
